I currently live in Newtown PA, a beautiful area that is up and coming in the Bucks County Community. Though I have to say my heart is in Boston, MA where I had lived for a little over 18 years. I was raised by two loving parents who only ever wanted the best for me and opened my eyes to show me where I am truly called to serve.
I was truly blessed to be able to grow up in a Christian slavic community, and even more blessed to move down to a beautiful state such as Pennsylvania when I married my husband. Where I could continue to grow our family surrounded by God loving people. I am a mother to a child I was unable to carry, as well as a mother to our rainbow baby Madelyn.
From as early on as I can remember, I have always enjoyed taking care of babies, holding the newborns, and always asking the mommas questions that they never thought would hear from a 10 year old. I worked at a waterpark just to see the smiles of the kids when they were having fun. Moving onto my next job at a daycare where I could be of more help with newborns and toddlers. Studying at a college to get my nursing degree only to realize that my passion for babies and birth was much stronger than pursuing a career uncertain if I would be able to be a nurse for L&D unit at a hospital. My passion for babies and the love I have for helping others as well as the skills that were received throughout life, led me to become a doula and one day midwife.
The birth of a child is truly a blessed gift. There is no better way to live life than by helping mothers achieve the birth that they have always hoped for. A world where choices can be neglected and ideas for a birth can be dismissed. Birth is powerful, and it should empower each and every mother on each of their journeys. I am always excited to learn about every mommas unique journey to pregnancy and parenthood. This new stage of life is worthy of kindness, joy, loving support, and respect which I hope I can be the one to provide that for you.
